Germany. A joint postdoctoral position in brain imaging is available at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research, Department of Neurophysiology, and at the Laboratory for Neurophysiology and Neuroimaging, Department of Psychiatry, Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität, Frankfurt am Main.

The ideal candidate should have a PhD in neuroimaging and expertise with a neuroimaging technique (TMS, EEG, MEG, fMRI/MRI). Excellent research opportunities are available at the nearby Brain Imaging Center. Applications from a physics or engineering background are welcome as well. Expertise in Matlab or C++ programming is desirable. The position will run for two years with a possible extension.

The successful applicant will work on projects examining the neurophysiology of cognitive dysfunctions in neuropsychiatric disorders (Schizophrenia, Autism, Morbus Alzheimer) with magnetoencephalography (MEG), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and functional/anatomical magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI/MRI). The stipend is depending on qualification and years of working experience.
