Masters Scholarships in Psychology, University of Hertfordshire

UK.  Each year the School of Psychology invites application for scholarships from international students who pursue postgraduate degree in psychology. The amount of the awards would be £2000 per applicant (to be deducted from tuition fees).

Scholarships will be awarded on a merit and/or hardship basis.  Interested candidates must hold a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to a full-time masters programme in psychology at UH which they have firmly accepted or which they intend to accept.

Other eligibility and conditions

• Applicant must be self-financing and liable to pay tuition fees at the rate for overseas students
• Applicant must not be sponsored by an employer
• Applicant must not be sponsored by a government
• Applicant must meet UH academic and English language entry requirements.
• Applicants must fulfil their financial obligations to the University of Hertfordshire.

It is the responsibility of the applicant to apply for admission to UH. If you do not apply for admission, you will not be considered for a scholarships. Please make sure to apply for admission to UH in good time.

Applicants are required to write to the School of Psychology stating that they wish to be considered for the scholarship and why they believe they should be selected for the scholarship.

Application should include a recommendation letter from the course tutor of applicant’s most recent programme of study. The application should be received by the School of Psychology no later than 31 July 2007. Applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application in late August 2007.

Provisional award date: 18 September 2007. Final award date: 31 December 2007.Please note that accepting UH as an insurance offer does not satisfy the conditions relating to this scholarships.
