International Scholarships for University Teachers, Slovak Universities

Slovak. The scholarships are for foreign university teachers over a period of 1 to 12 months to carry out teaching at Slovak universities, research institutes or non-governmental organisations on the basis of an invitation. The amount of the scholarships is varies depend on each teacher’s profile.

• lecturers with or without a PhD degree 20 000 SKK monthly
• associated professors 25 000 SKK monthly
• professors 30 000 SKK monthly

This teaching scholarships is a part of National Scholarships Programme of The Slovak Republic. The selection committee, appointed by the Minister of Education of the Slovak Republic, carries out the selection of scholarship holders. SAIA, n. o. will send the e-mail notification of granting or refusing a scholarships to all applicants within six weeks after the application deadline.

Applications deadlines for the academic year 2008/2009:
30 April 2008 – for academic year 2008/2009
31 October 2008 – for summer semester 2008/2009
