International Scholarships for PhD Study, Slovak Universities

Slovak. The scholarships are intended to support foreign PhD students to take a part of PhD study over a period of 1 to 12 months at Slovak universities or research institutes. The amount of the scholarships will be 14,000 SKK monthly ( current rate: 1 EUR = 34 SKK, 1 USD = 25 SKK)

This PhD scholarships is a part of National Scholarships Programme of The Slovak Republic. The selection committee, appointed by the Minister of Education of the Slovak Republic, carries out the selection of scholarship holders. SAIA, n. o. will send the e-mail notification of granting or refusing a scholarships to all applicants within six weeks after the application deadline.

Applications deadlines for the academic year 2008/2009:
30 April 2008 – for academic year 2008/2009
31 October 2008 – for summer semester 2008/2009
