The Departement of Mathematics, Universität Karlsruhe (TH), is currently inviting application for positions in the junior research group in Numerical Methods for High Dimensional Systems. Two available positions is currently available for PhD or Postdocs.

Interested candidates must have graduated in mathematics, physics, bioinformatics or computer science. The position requires sound understanding of numerical mathematics, in particular a good knowledge of numerical methods for partial and ordinary differential equations. The candidate must be familiar with MATLAB and C++ or Java. German language skills are not necessary provided that the candidate has a sufficient level of written and spoken English.
