Open Post-doc (12 to 24 months) and Ph-D Positions are available in the field of physical-chemistry of bacterial interactions with their environment.

Applicants should have a strong background in physical-chemistry and preferably knowledge in biophysics. Experience in microbiology will be appreciated. Depending on the profile of the candidate, experimental and/or theoretical work will be performed within the framework of the project. Experimental work covers the use of Atomic Force Microscopy, electrokinetics and other conventional colloidal techniques.

Theoretical work is related to the understanding of electrodynamics of permeable bioparticles. Candidates must have performed very well in their bachelor, masters, or diploma programs. We are looking for a dynamic candidate who shows enthusiasm for top-quality research.

As interdisciplinary teamwork is essential for this project, the candidate must demonstrate a capacity to work synergistically with other scientists in complementary fields of science. The successful candidate must be able to write, read and speak English without any difficulties.
