Cancer Cell Invasion and Metastasis should be the research subject of this full time postgraduate scholarships. Provided by the University of Sidney, this scholarships is available for a suitably qualified candidate with a good honours or higher degree in science to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in cancer cell biology.
The project extends our recent discoveries in cancer cell migration mechanisms to biomolecular, clinical investigations. Live-cell 4D imaging, in vivo biosensor tracking and microarray techniques will be used to characterize cancer cell behaviour.
International students may apply, however the scholarship funds cannot be used to pay for international student tuition fees. The value of the scholarship is from $20,007 pa – $25,365 pa, up to 3 years and is negotiable according to academic excellence and/or experience.
